SATTVA is a committed bakery and pastry shop, concerned with authenticity, focused on the essential things that are: taste, simplicity and anti-waste.

Founded by Gilles Renaud, pastry chef, then joined by Guy Link, experienced entrepreneur (foodie and gluten intolerant) and following the advice of a naturopathic doctor, SATTVA offers bites of pleasure.

Resulting from the fusion between the nutritional needs of the body and seasonal products, our pastries bring you their benefits. This also involves a rigorous selection of the products used, such as wholemeal flours, natural sugars (honey, coconut sugar, blond and brown cane sugar) from organic or sustainable farming.

The production is artisanal, made with quality products so that their benefits and flavor are fully expressed for the nutritional well-being of our customers. From breakfast to dinner, SATTVA accompanies you in your daily life, your holiday meals and your events.

A Sanskrit word of Indian origin, Sattva (सत्त्व) is a complex concept in Indian philosophy, used in many contexts and meaning "nature, vital, energy, rudiment of life". It is also a way of life: respect for nature, products, the love with which meals are prepared, the balance between pleasure and health.

In Hindu culture, especially in the south of the country, the banana tree is considered sacred. Its leaves are used as plates during all celebrations, such as weddings, ceremonies or pujas. In Thailand, they are also used to wrap food.
